SHAKE IT WORKSHOP
Shake it! is an isolation dance technique with Afro-American jazz basis, with dynamic hip and chest movements: tilts, shakes and hits.
Shake it! is the dance technique you can most often see in video clips, as it matches R’n’B music. For shake it! you need a precise, elaborate isolation technique (moving your body parts at the same time, independently from each other), requiring great concentration. Hot and lively movements, requiring physical fitness, and being beneficial for problematic body parts, such as thighs and the hip. STILETTO TRAINING
Together with experts (dancers, physiotherapists, pediatrists, knee and ankle specialists), Alma Pirner has worked out a special programme to strengthen the muscles of the lower leg, the joints of the knee and the ankle.
For 90 minutes, we do yoga and fitness based strengthening, stretching and limbering-up exercises, occasionally with the help of a rubber band. We also teach movements, walks and poses that improve your balance and posture.
